Dexter Startled

Dexter is startled when I walk into my room to find him eating my sausage egg and biscuit with cheese from McDonalds. I am usually fine with him eating McDonalds as long as its not mine, and he knows this. So I was able to catch his reaction as I caught him red handed. I let him finish the rest of it since he said he was starving but now I will probably have to find something for myself to eat later... Way to go Dexter.

Dexter loves McDonalds

Dexter just enjoyed  one of his favorites from McDonalds, the southern style chicken sandwich. Not sure why he like this one so much but he can sure eat. Dexter also like chic a fil but they are not open on Sundays or late at night so he settles for the second best chicken sandwich he can find. With the sandwich Dexter is able to finish an entire McDonald sweet tea and half an oatmeal raisin cookie. He then immediately passes out in any of his many hiding places.

Dexter also learned a new word today. He says "hi" (I guess he downloaded Rosetta Stone on my computer when he was surfing the web)

Dexter Sees You...

Dexter sees all with his blue eyes... cats can see better than humans, hear better than humans, smell things better than humans....... yet they don't come when they are called???? Interestingly... Dexter can sure here the sounds of food being pored into his bowl... Dexter only likes to eat the best, when he isn't eating Purina one he loves to eat chicken portabella with noddle, filet mingnon (rare of course) over white rice, and fresh sushi grade salmon sashimi... he does enjoy the occasional Kobe beef (cooked medium) but I can't afford to feed him that on a daily so its a great treat for him. Surprisingly Dexter isn't over weight, he is very healthy and doesn't have a high cholesterol, you may think he is spoiled but as long as he doesn't eat better than me we can live together...

Dexter's Condo

So Dexter has been busy the last couple of days, spending most of his time looking out windows and sleeping. Dexter spends a lot of his time sleeping in this cat condo covered with carpet that he enjoys digging into. He likes this condo because he think it keeps him safe from all the elements including our dog, me and other roommates who like to both Dexter while he is sleeping. Other hideouts Dexter enjoys are walk in closets, under beds, and behind anything that offers cover. Usually to get Dexter to come out of one of his many hiding places, you just have to put food in his bowl.
